FilmTec™ Nano Filtration Membrane
The FilmTec™ Nano Filtration (NF) membrane, is a liquid separation technology that shares many similar characteristics to its RO counterpart. Unlike RO however, NF membranes have a slightly larger pore size which is designed to remove larger molecules, but to allow some smaller ions to pass through.
This makes them ideal for applications where some mineral content is desired. NF membranes are commonly used for reducing hardness in water and treating wastewater where total demineralisation isn’t necessary.
